How to get your mojo using LinkedIn
Although most of our work focuses on teaching people and companies how to leverage LinkedIn to the maximum to reach a unique goal, many professionals overlook the most basic reason to ensure that their profile is updated and professional. It’s probably the most important online representation of you.
If your profile is lacking, it can be perceived in many ways. People might think:
- you were too lazy to finish it;
- you don’t care about it;
- or that there is nothing more to add.
Moral: Complete your profile.
LinkedIn is a super-powerful tool and now more than ever it should be utilized accordingly. You can optimize your profile to attract your ideal prospects whether you’re looking for a new job, investors for your start-up, clients for your business, collaborators, talent, vendors, etc.
So, be honest with yourself. Do you present yourself in a unique and understandable way online? Read your profile and critique it. I’m confident you can figure out if your profile appears impressive and interesting.
Based on your LinkedIn profile…
Would you want to talk to yourself? Would you want your own advice?
Just look at your profile, and judge for yourself. A few tweaks can work wonders!
